Williams Wholesale Supply was founded in 1939 by Frank Williams and his son Robert as a family hardware store. They expanded to their present South Jefferson Avenue location in 1961 as a full line electrical and plumbing distributor. In 1976 a lighting showroom was added along with Robert's sons Bobby and Roy. In 2002, 4th generation B-Bob Williams joined the family business.
In 2005, a second location, Williams Wholesale Supply of Nashville, Inc., was opened on Cowan Street in Nashville, Tennessee. This location added John Hannah and Richard Tanner as partners. The Nashville location serves commercial, residential, utility and industrial electrical markets.
Williams Wholesale Supply and Lighting Center offer all products for residential and commercial projects relating to electrical, plumbing, and lighting needs at their Cookeville location. The lighting and plumbing showroom has wonderful displays to help homeowners with their purchase decisions.
